Hazel Marshall loves talking about stories - how to find them, how to build them, how to write them. She spent almost ten years at the BBC designing and delivering story courses. She trained hundreds of programme makers at all stages in their career working on series like Storyville, Horizon, Natural World, Springwatch and Strictly Come Dancing. She worked as a story and script consultant with numerous award winning series including Africa, Hidden Kingdoms, Shark, Operation Iceberg and many others. Hazel has also delivered workshops and talks for independent companies, individual film-makers and at media festivals in the UK and around the world.
Jess Baker has been working in development across a range of natural history, specialist factual and factual entertainment shows for nearly a decade. She's developed shows such as Planet Earth II and Harvest Live for the BBC; Story of Cats, Life at the Extreme with Davina McCall and Puppy Secrets for ITV; Seven Days that Made the Fuhrer and Million Pound Council House for Five; Predators and Genius of Dogs for Discovery, alongside many others.
Jess is currently the Deputy Head of Development for Plimsoll Productions.
Steve Greenwood is a series producer at BBC Studios Natural History Unit and was formerly the series editor of the long running BBC Two strand Natural World. He has worked on the series Lost Land of the Jaguar, Sharks and most recently Mountain: Life at the Extreme.
