Wildscreen Panda Awards 2020
The wildlife film and photography industry takes global audiences to the world’s most remote, inhospitable and threatened environments, shining a spotlight on species and habitats that most will not experience.
This form of documentary has never been more important or needed, with biodiversity being threatened to the point of no return. The Panda Awards celebrates the human endeavour, commitment and unique skill that it takes to tell nature’s stories.
The Panda Awards celebrate the craft of wildlife filmmaking and photography and honour the very best that our industry is producing. Submissions are accepted from productions of any length or budget.
Why you should enter your production into the Panda Awards
If your production is outstanding within the 11 Panda Award categories and nominated for a Panda Award, you will have the opportunity to be internationally recognised by winning the highest accolade in the wildlife filmmaking industry, drawing your work to the attention of our senior industry executive attendees such as the BBC, Netflix and National Geographic. Panda Award nominated films are screened to industry professionals as part of a masterclass at the Wildscreen Festival 2020, giving you the opportunity to showcase your work to industry professionals and wildlife film enthusiasts. You will also be invited to the Panda Award ceremony where the Panda Award 2020 winners will be announced and presented with a Wildscreen Panda Award.
Why you should enter your photo story into the Panda Awards
If you are nominated you will have the opportunity to be internationally recognised by the natural world storytelling community and be part of the Wildscreen Panda Award Photo Story outdoor exhibition, attracting over 45,000 members of the public in 2018. You and your work will be showcased as part of a session at Wildscreen Festival 2020. You will also be invited to the Panda Award ceremony where the Panda Award 2020 winners will be announced and presented with a Wildscreen Panda Award.

Bold, authentic and varied stories that speak to different audiences with urgency and hope have never been so necessary.
Our natural world is beautifully diverse and this strength will be reflected through the voices heard, tools used and stories shared within the Wildscreen Official Selection.
