Emma Hughes

Emma Hughes is an independent producer, curator and artist specialising in interactive and immersive experience making. With a background in theatre and film, Emma has been production designer for a number of short films. As an advocate of the arts and outdoors for health and wellbeing, she places community at the heart of her practice, facilitating creative expression and engagement with the natural world through making and producing work that is playful, accessible and innovative in its use of emerging technology. As researcher and curator for virtual reality (VR) exhibition company Limina Immersive, she has produced and curated sell-out VR events, as well as managing the set up of the UK's first dedicated arts VR theatre.

Emma was a Programmer for Wildscreen Official Selection 2020.
