Academy Award-winning director James Reed won the Oscar for Best Documentary Feature in 2021 and Golden Panda Award with My Octopus Teacher, which was broadcast on Netflix in 2020. His previous productions include the highly acclaimed Jago: A Life Underwater and Rise Of The Warrior Apes. James also runs Underdog Films, which produces the adventure doc series Chasing Ocean Giants (Discovery ), an undisclosed series for Netflix currently in production and various dramas based on true stories.
