Wildscreen Festival 2022
The Future of Natural World Storytelling for a Better Planet
Wildscreen Festival 2022 celebrates, supports and platforms the global wildlife filmmaking community.
From industry leaders and celebrity talent, to award-winning filmmakers, photographers, NGOs and high end kit exhibitors, we had an unmissable programme for the 2022 festival.
“This year’s festival theme “The Future of Natural World Storytelling for a Better Planet”, speaks to our charity’s mission, to connect people with nature through natural world storytelling. Along with celebrating our 40th anniversary, this year’s festival will be future-focused. With the state of the world, it is absolutely vital that we look at the future of the natural world storytelling craft for the sake of the planet. This year’s festival programme will centre on 4 key elements: Craft, Industry, Global Voices, and Planetary Crisis, which will be interwoven throughout the festival content.” (Lucie Muir, Wildscreen CEO)
The programme for our hybrid festival was full of top industry headliners, lively and thought-provoking panel sessions, commissioner clinics, a huge range of masterclasses led by experts in their field, film screenings, world premieres, our Panda Award ceremony celebrating the best in natural world storytelling, networking opportunities and much more!
