Dennis Wells, Executive Producer at Taglicht Media

Dennis Wells is an award-winning producer and director of science, wildlife and history documentaries. He has made an international name with his combinations of rigorous research, visual excellency and ambitious storytelling.

After studying sociology in Germany, Australia and Canada he decided to begin his journalism career as a radio freelancer and later documentary director. In 2008 he joined taglicht media and developed, produced and directed many one-offs and series for ARD, ZDF, and arte. His focus has increasingly been on international coproductions with CBC, Smithsonian Channel, PBS, and Blue Ant Media. A Bee’s Diary is his first production that will screen in cinemas across Germany.
